Vaginal Neuroendocrinoma with Merkel Cell

Hello,
I was diagnosed with the above cancer July 17, 2015. Since then I have been seen by a GYN Oncologist, Chemo and Radiation. Had a Port placement and first chemo/radiation treatment this past week.
Three days of chemo Cisplatin 1 day, Etoposide 3 days then three weeks off. Radiation 5 days a week for seven weeks. So far I have no major symptoms although I was given all the literature of things that "might happen." I've read several places there's only been about 26 cases of this particular cancer reported. Has anyone heard of this before?
